    There's more than ONE way to play UT

    I'm certain this will be an unpopular opinion but I'll try to explain it as best I can...

    For me, people seem to be under the illusion that there should only be ONE way to play this game. THIER way. Whether that be skill moves, realism, defensive, whatever. I don't think this is the case though.

    I'm crap at skill moves and never use them (I have Neymar untradeable and he's wasted on me). BUT, I'm really good at defending. I have good timing and anticipation so when someone's trying to skill their way through me I drop my player back slightly and wait for the right time to tackle.

    Sometimes this works and my defensive ability beat's their ability to skill.

    Sometimes it doesn't and they're just too good/fast/skillful for me.

    But this is the game and there's more than one way to play it! You don't see Burnley playing tika-taka against Man City!

    Skillers complain about counter attackers. Counter attackers complain about high pressers. High pressers complain about possession players. Possession players complain about skillers.

    This whole 'endgame' tag attached to cards needs to stop

    I find it ridiculous when youtubers and the wider fifa community in this sub talk about whether they shouldn't do an SBC or buy a card because it isn't endgame.

    By the time we get to the endgame anyway in July/August, there'll be little to no motivation to play the game when it's pretty much dead and FIFA 22 is on the way. Just enjoy the cards you can now whilst the game is still active and interesting rather than worrying whether a card is endgame or not.

    For example, I've seen discussions on whether FB Vidal is endgame or not and I don't understand it at all, the guy is a beast right now, yes you might have better and cheaper options at the endgame but that's 2 to 3 months away. Stop worrying about endgame and start enjoying the game now.

    Anybody else a little upset that there are still no icon SBCs released?

    Pretty much the title. It's just a little disappointing because I play this game for icons mainly. Icons and the grind towards them is fun but there are none there, and then when we do eventually get them, it will be Baresi, Scholes, and Van Nistlerooy.

    3 random PIM every week isn't good enough. Assuming that every icon is released, it will be in mid July when the last few are released, and that's guaranteeing that EA release on the same schedule, for every week.

    This promo has been outstanding, but an overpriced Baily SBC isn't really what I want to use coins or fodder on. Of course I'm not the one person that it's made for, but I just wish EA would actually stick to a schedule to release ICON SBCs and make them fair.

    Why have EA slowed down again in releasing them? They should be releasing them at least twice a week but now they've randomly stopped releasing them during fut birthday. Makes no sense to me. PIM lampard is ~400k, for chelsea fans that kind of price for an SBC for their idol would be amazing. Same goes for United fans and PIM paul scholes who is literally less than 400k on the market. His SBC would be amazing value as well with fodder.

    What I'm trying to say is that the quicker EA release these and more of these they release the more fun we can have because these icons are SO craft-able that you can have several icons in your squad within a small period of time

    I mean one that isn't rashford or joe gomez! This must force EA to see the rewards structure is out dated,!promo weeks should have promo picks and icons should be randomly appear as a pick (all be it rare ) to keep the ´what if' excitement! Looking at results this weekend there will be next to nothing decent as a red pick once again

    I've been getting random non-connection-related disconnects this week, and this weekend league I got 8 disconnects that behave the same way as though you would disconnect if you alt-tabbed out of FIFA and I'd often get a GPU Nvidia driver error along with it, even though my drivers were up to date.

    I looked at my Windows Event Viewer and found this:

    Faulting application name: dwm.exe, version: 10.0.19041.746, time stamp: 0x6be51595

    Faulting module name: ism.dll, version: 10.0.19041.867, time stamp: 0xd007dfa5

    After doing some research I found the reason for this error: I had to update the firmware on my Xbox Series X controller.

    So if you're playing with an Xbox Series X controller and this has been happening to you, you need to go to the Windows Store and download Xbox Accessories app and use it to update the firmware on the controller.

    After doing that, I didn't get a single disconnect.

    Hopefully this helps someone out there.
