For Chem reasons, I need a left forward in my team and looking at options to upgrade Ney, it's hard to find a compelling one. Guess who I got: 79 ikone. I grinded to level 26 and got rewarded with a bunch of shit gold players. EA really gotta give better rewards at this point in the game. [link] [comments] |

| Review of All (Non-Icon) 5 Star Combo Players Posted: 04 Jun 2021 04:35 PM PDT I have seen a lot of posts today asking about Dembele and how he stacks up against players similar to him. I am a 5 star combo freak, and I have played with pretty much every 5 star combo player worthy of note this year. I figured I would post what I thought about each player for anyone curious to see. These guys are a rare breed... Please let me know what you think!! (22 win-average player btw...usually miss that last game for elite...) Neymar TOTS/IF/NIF - Probably no review needed here. TOTS is probably the best card in the game, while the other versions are going to be consistent and last the whole game cycle for anyone. IF probably not worth the coinage over the NIF for anyone wondering. Biggest weakness is probably passing on all of the cards other than TOTS. Dribbling is still tough to beat for even the best of the TOTS cards. For reference, I compare everyone else to his NIF card. He is the standard, as always. Flashback Dembele - Pretty damn good player so far with only 10 games played in WL. Only weakness is, well...weakness. He does get pushed off the ball easily. All round great stats, although I don't really feel the BS factor with him even though he has a unique body type. Weaker than his height. Somewhat generic feel, and misses random chances...definitely does not feel like perfect shooting. Great player though, and definitely worth the price, in particular if you need the skills. TOTS Nani - Holy crap, put this dude in the elusive 'glitch' category. If you skill, this guy is your bread and butter. Randomly pops through players when skilling and the ball is magnetized to his feet. No need for any other chem style than Hunter, his dribbling is next level. Possibly not as perfect as Neymar TOTS but pretty damn close. Nani misses random chances just like Dembele does, but he brings more to the game than Dembele. Very surprised how good Nani is. 800k is probably too cheap for this guy on the market. The light blue boots are a plus. FB Atal - Has to be the best valued player in the game, for a while now. While he doesn't have the same 'glitch' that a few other players have (Neymar, Mbappe, CR7...NANI...lol) he is by far the most consistent player I have ever used and he is a jack of all trades. I usually use him as a striker and he literally wins you games just by being at the right place, right time, with perfect animations. No stupid touches or weirdness. He isn't a glitch, but he does exactly what you want him to do with your controller, which for some reason is so rare. Possibly not as fun to use as the other two, but if you need a win at all costs, this is your guy. Pretty much never misses, unlike Dembele and Nani. I don't understand it. Flashback Ribery - Unfortunately never tried him :( SBC was way too expensive at the time. Flashback Robbery. This means I will not include him in my rankings, sorry guys. FB Thiago - Pretty good midfielder for this point in the game, although slightly slow. Not an attacker though, so I will not be including him in the rankings either. FB Perisic - The low dribbling and big body ruins the card. Extremely sluggish, even worse than the stats show. Definitely a pass at all costs card, even though it looked promising. FB Bernardeschi - Similar to Perisic, although slightly better all-round for me. Better dribbling, although still turns slow. Still not worth using unless on themed squads. FB Kent - Somewhat similar to a slightly smaller Atal in feel, but without the consistency, strength and aggressiveness. Good card though, and definitely still useable at this stage in the game. Decent for squads using the English Rangers hyperlinks. Rankings: Competitive Sweats
Fun Factor
At the end of the day (excluding icons) I would recommend Atal, Nani, Dembele, and any Neymar over any other TOTS cards in the game. The 5 combo is just too much of an advantage for my game over anyone else (CR7 and Mbappe, maybe Messi ngl, being the exceptions) The main two reasons are 1.Even if you do not use the skills, the way a 5 star skiller feels on the ball is just different than even a 4 star. I do not know why.
The fantastic thing is that on the large scale, every single one of these guys is affordable (except TOTY Neymar, of course) and that is such an insanely cool thing. There are so many more expensive TOTY players that are just not as good in my opinion....take advantage!! [link] [comments] |
