    So i have been playing fifa since release and have found this game to be more like a science experiment to see how people react to massive amounts of manipulation. First off my record is 447-56-162 so im not a terrible player so please dont think 'oh he just moaning cause he bad'. But for me i personally dont deal well with the game, normally im a calm person and not aggressive but im ashamed to say this game has bought out the worst out in me.

    Il probably get bashed alot for being open and people can make there judgements but i know for fact im not the only one. When i concede a stupid goal from making 4 tackles but there player makes it out with the ball, or my player does some ridiculous pass or completely miss the ball (if any other game had problems like fifa it would fail) i would get over aggressive and found i would basically self harm i.e punch my leg, wall, etc and have gone into work with bruised fingers and knuckles. It feels like a social experiment and it has crazy effect on your mental health, the stress of trying to get one win for fut champ to get rubbish rewards when it comes to it.

    At the start i even bought a new controller thinking mine has broke but turns out it was just the game-play that weekend.

    Ive said to myself im just going to quit this game i know its not good for me physically and mentally, i know people will say thats your fault but this game promote these things unhealthy things by the fuckery it gives you to clearly get more sales on packs.

    My point is I think a lot of people playing this needs to take a step back and think is it really worth it and if you have similar behaviour to me realise your not the only one and how damaging it can be, there thousands of games out there what you can enjoy and what may be better for you. I play alot of other games what can be frustrating but i dont act anything like i do with fifa.

    Ive enjoyed the community as i never used Reddit much till this fifa and they have been the highlight of fifa for me. and thank you for anyone who has helped me on previous posts. Hopefully get positive response so when i get tempted to play again i can come back here and see them.

    Edit: So as many people commented agreeing, i contacted EA and shared the post, they gave a scripted response and then told me they 'i understand it can be frustrating when your favourite game is facing issues' so atleast they know. They then started saying they are shocked that my gameplay is so bad with the amazing players i have and it will be pass on to there development team. Then wished me to have good pack luck in future which i told them i will be quiting after next week reward. I have quit but im curious to see if i get some pack luck all of a sudden from them. Either way i will be finished with the game

    Nothing in life has fucked with my sanity as much as this game. It's so blatantly scripted and rigged. Pack weight is ridiculous and it's not rewarding enough to play your mind out for shitty player picks. There's a point in the match where you're not longer facing an opponent but EA's bullshit itself. Skill, tactics and strategy are useless in this game. Never spending a penny on EA again. I hope some of you can remain sane and come out of this without some veins and arteries bursting.✌🏻

    As someone in their 30s with a wife and a fairly demanding job, I love doing SBCs on the train, but the game has now got to the point where it's not fun for a casual player.

    I'm a D6 Rivals, usually bounce between Gold 3 and Silver 1.

    Part of this may be that I'm sh*t - but sometimes you want to get online a take your mind off things and a game give you some enjoyment.

    Some examples of complete nonsense:

    Scripting Oh the scripting. I get that EA feel with games staying tight it will keep people on the edge of their seat more - what it actually means is your flashback Rooney is clean through but fluffs his lines, puts it wide, inside of the post, and your opponent sweeps through your team with all tackles failing and your 90 rated De Gea just lets it through. Oh, and Scripted players, can you tell me why Harry Kane with 99 finishing, shot power etc misses more 1 on 1s than a FS James?

    Goalkeepers Ter Stegen - when did this man develop powers of the matrix? Of course other than when I have a simple shot with Scripted players (FS James anyone?)

    'Meta' nonsense This has got to be one of the most boring things on the planet. Dembele, Ben Yedder, Sissoko etc - the usual suspects. Why is this a thing? I want to play a game with a decent side, if I have an 88 rated CM I expect him to be much better than one that's 81 rated!

    Matchmaking Bronze Bench, Non-Rare Gold Bench, Normal Bench, it doesn't matter now - if you've got a half decent team look forward to constantly facing Mbappe, R9, Messi, Barnes etc who never miss. You must see I've lost the last 5 games consecutively - why not pair me against someone with an equal team who is getting pummelled similar to me? In the WL this is literally ridiculous.

    Pack odds This is just total bullshit, thankfully I've never spent a penny on Fifa points, but if I get a few 100k pack from objectives/rewards I would reasonably expect a decent pull from it.

    Pace rules all This is not football - it's not even close to football, football is about so much more, skill, touch, technical ability - they even have to make Icons full of pace to match their stupid game play style - Lampard, Bobby Moore, Ronaldinho - none of these were lightening quick, but of course the only way to make them any good....

    Shit servers When you finally have a good game, get an hour in and you get thrown off and it counts as an L - really EA, REALLY? I can't even.

    All of these things alone are cause for frustration but all of them at once have made the game stupid to play. I'm going to try PES as others now seem to be doing, even for comparison - maybe it'll make me realise FIFA is half decent?

    The permanent player moments SBCs are very nice, but they are in no way a solid replacement for Icon SBCs

    Honestly, enough of your obsession with traders EA. Icon swaps is MEH, these player moments cards are good and all but I rather get a choice from tons of icons SBCs like we had last year. I see no reason to not release all player moments icon SBCs, swallow your pride and do it.

    When I came up against a full bronze team! I was thinking that the stars had aligned and I was going to easily get that 18th win (most I've ever won before was 15 games). The purpose of this post is to shout out my opponent, sedgwickothy. He was an absolutely amazing player and had me work for my win all the way to the last! Talked to him afterwards and said he's usually an elite player but wanted to challenge himself this weekend. Could see him easily hitting elite with the way he played! P.S. 88 Luis Alberto was my best player from the pick pack so the grind was not worth it.
