Even when I eat sweets I only pack goalkeepers. This from 3 Kinderriegel.

Not sure if this was posted already, but @DirtyxRedlab just posted on Twitter the most ridiculous FIFA clip I’ve ever seen

I know it's nothing special, but having a newborn baby at home doesn't allow me to play that much fifa as before, still this is the first time in any Fifa I manage to buy and play with my idol for the past 13 years!

I’m sorry but isn’t manipulating pack odds or advertising false rates illegal?

They rewarded the Ultimate SBC back in the same way they rewarded Gold 2 + players during TOTS WL mishap, and it's absurd.

    Posted: 13 Jun 2020 10:58 PM PDT

I'm gonna start off by saying, I know not everyone will agree with me but hear me out. Yesterday, the moment Ultimate Guaranteed SBC came out, there were a good chunk of people packing Sancho, a great card worth well over 500k, as it turns out EA screwed up the percentages of packing him in contrast to others players and withdrew the SBC for a couple of minutes, rightly so! Now after re-releasing it the drop rates were evidently nerfed, I watched some streamers yesterday and saw Oblak pop up like 3 times in a row, Carvajal, Trent and Henderson were also popping up more than the initial release, so it's obvious this is the pack that EA meant to give out in the first place. Now in my case, which is obviously biased, I couldn't do it during the initial release, when they were giving out Sanchos left, right and centre, and when I logged in and was putting my squad together they took it down, fine. Anyways, ended up packing Carvajal, and I really coulda used a Sancho, lol.

After they addressed this, it seems that those affected players who did the SBC within the first hour or so, got another take at the SBC, again rightly so, since the chances were messed up, regardless if it was Sancho or Sommer, but the very very least they coulda done is given a second shot to ALL players, even though you weren't so to say affected. It's absurd that a mistake from their end, which lasted within a short period of time, is then tackled by not rewarding the community as a whole, just take into comparison when they messed up the red player pick rewards for La Liga iirc for Gold 2 players and above, if you were lucky enough to managed to open them within their first release you essentially coulda gotten 2 decent fodders or maybe even La Liga TOTS, whereas those who for various reasons couldn't open them initially were only 'rewarded' by having their usual number of picks. It's exactly the same scenario in a different situation, what they should have done in the latter, is give the players who have not yet opened their player picks their initial picks with the same odds AND another batch of picks with the correct odds, its only fair, why should a player be at a disadvantage because of time zones or other reasons it makes 0 sense. Whereas for their most recent mishap with the Ultimate TOTS pack, they should have given those who did the SBC after they 'fixed' it another shot when the odds were the same on release.

Apologies for the long text, but I wanted to share my take on this all, and would really like to get your thoughts on this. Like I said this is my take on all of this, and it's absolutely fine if you don't agree. What do you think? Should they have rewarded differently, or do you agree with the way they proceeded in both situations? Thanks!

Edit: Just to clarify, what I'm saying is that EVERYONE should have been refunded back the SBC for the Ultimate Guaranteed TOTS not just those who opened it between the time frame where the odds seemed too good to be true, and these players should be refunded the pack with the same odds it initially came out, it's only fair imo.

Can we all stop hating on Aduriz?

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 03:56 PM PDT

I hate EA as much as the next guy but can we stop with the Aduriz slander? Who cares if he has poor stamina, agility and balance? Not every card has to be used to sweat your balls off sometimes you are allowed to have fun/try out cool unique cards. Sometimes I feel like the community will just never be satisfied

You know the "no sush, no dab" walkout animation?

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 01:00 PM PDT

Wouldn't it be nice to have that as a celebration? It would be a great thing to do to the sushers and the dabbers.

I highly recommend watching The English Game. You learn about a huge piece of football history and these two legends.

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 02:36 PM PDT

The fact that you can’t choose your first 5 penalty takers till now is so so fucking dumb.

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 05:53 AM PDT

And your sub defender with 40 pen goes 3rd to take penalty and misses.

There are no loose balls in fifa and that causes half our frustrations.

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 06:57 AM PDT

We get the appearance of 50/50 balls, but realistically, the game engine has decided who possesses every pass and rebound the moment it starts moving. It's something I've thought was true for years now, but yesterday, I had 2 instances confirm it.

    • Once was during an online mystery ball match where my opponent had speed ball. They took a shot and after my keeper blocked it and the ball looked like a 50/50, their winger slowed to a crawl while my full back suddenly turned into Usain Bolt. As though the game decided "ok you have possession of this list ball 20m away and thus get the speed boost now"
    • the second was during a WL match where we had one of the 30 times during a match that the ball flies high into the air off a save. It's totally a 50/50 ball at the edge of the box but my TOTS de vrij is walking through quicksand while his winger flies to the ball.

I've noticed this predetermined possession/direction also plays a role in things like:

    • trying to run steep for step with a winger chasing down a through ball
    • people playing drop back to cut passing lanes that totally change the trajectory of your passes from where you aim
    • rebounds falling to the feet of the player who shot on goal
    • probably the tackles that immediately give the ball back
    • losing out on headers to shorter, weaker players

FIFA would be infinitely less frustrating without these predetermined possession instances

I installed the game exactly two weeks ago. Anyone saying "there's no point joining late in the cycle" / It's the most enjoyable FIFA has been for me for ages.

    Kit numbers looking nice?

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 02:46 PM PDT

Am I the only one who needs to have everyone wearing the right kit numbers?
E.g., I have TOTS Robertson and he just has to wear #26 for me and Ramos has to wear 4 etc.
And when I see folk who have given Messi #8 or something like that it just makes me freak out a little.
I'm sure I am not the only one but from playing FUT Champs all day, no one had the right numbers on their players

It's crazy how I didn't have nearly as many issues with Gameplay in FIFA 17 despite using this team for the entire year

The mental toll of playing FIFA is too damn high

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 04:01 PM PDT

Playing fut champs gets you stressed

    Playing rivals gets you stressed

I can't recall when was the last time i ended a fifa session feeling happy.

We're all addicts and we are all at the mercy of EA.
