    The squad battles AI isn't there to win it's there to bore you to death

    They play such slow and boring football and just pass it about for 10 minutes and you cant tackle them . They don't try to win they are just there to bore you to death. They dominate possession and it's just a boring 90 minutes. They should cap how many goals you can score so something like "first to 5 wins" because 90 minutes of this current format is just boring.

    What's up folks? Apologies that I haven't updated in a bit– a few folks reached out asking for updates. You might have heard that there's been some events in America of late. This has apparently been an open question since 1787 – but it turns out we DON'T want to be an ethno-religious fascist dictatorship. Alas, the gravy seals have departed and been imprisoned, our incoming cabinet looks more like our soccer team, and I can go back to focusing on what really matters – taking a rag-tag group of misfits to the promised land of Elite 3. Today, AMERICA IS BACK. Why? Because much like Matthew "Lewandowski but better" Hoppe, EA just doesn't see how wonderful America can be.

    I went 11-2 this past weekend, but have been prioritizing that sweet, sweet Pulisic grind. Because getting to level 30 is essentially a full-time job on top my actual job and wedding planning, I may not update until the chosen one arrives. Once that hits and future stars comes through (where Secretary of State Christian "GQ" Pulisic will be joined by Treasury Secretary Gio "American Dream" Reyna and Attorney General Sergino "Good Riddance Bill Barr" Dest), we're off to the races.

    FRIENDLY RIVALRY RENEWED

    When not dealing with enemies domestic, I faced two El Tri Tifos… or El Trifos, if you're into the whole brevity thing. One I lost 1-0 (I had 11 shots with 8 on target, he had 2 shots with 2 on target. Late sweat KILLS ME). The other I went up 3-0 before my opponent messaged me in Spanish "can you please let me win the game?" I politely declined my North American brethren, as I would not deprive a passionate Mexican player of the pride of earning a victory.

    Perhaps he learned from our country's fine leadership, which responds to losses by begging for an alternative and unethical path to victory. But enough about Georgia.

    AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT

    ​

    Second half through balls and compensating for bad fullbacks. I've been giving up about 1 dumb sweat goal every other game in the second half. My RB and LB are the weaknesses of the team (literally) because of their low strength. I don't have the Mendys of the world to bully away wings – they tend to muscle past Yeds and Dest late. I can get away with trying to win the ball in the first half, but in the second I just need to stay in front of the Manes and Lozanos and Felix types so I don't give up a dumb sweat goal. Running straight back only in the second half with the fullbacks from now on, and may consider lowering depth from 4 to 3 if I've got the lead.

    Wide angle shots. This I improved greatly by just running straight back when the Mboopis, Neymars, and Felixs would try to run at that 30-45 degree angle around the CB, use a bridge, then shoot at a ludicrous angle far post. Still happens because of the above, but once that's cleaned up defense should improve tremendously.

    Offensive creativity – let the skill moves lose. I tend to clam up and play simpler against stronger opponents or in tight matches. I've gotten damn good at canceled croquetas and have been working on adding first time fake shots into my game. But I don't do these things if I'm not playing loose, and that leads to dumb games like losing to an El Tri badge with an 8 shot edge.

    Rushing out with CDMs. I think of myself as a very good defender. But this game isn't super conducive to pressure play unless you're dead-on excellent and have a stud team. I need to be more patient and maintain shape better. I've also been considering using Lima to drop back from his striker spot since he has ludicrous stamina. More to come.

    I was involved with coin transfer.

    about 3 days ago I tried to sell my Inform Kounde. Listed him for 16,000-300,000. Got a 299k bid, you can understand I was happy about that. It seems EA not so much, I feel like someone bought coins and the seller bid on the wrong Kounde. I mean thats the only thing I can just think of that happend, or someone just did a wrong bid overall I don't know. Either way, happy days.

    Until this morning, got a message pop-up that I was involved with coin transfer and it got me permanent transferbanned on this FIFA. I was transferbanned as well on FIFA 20 for almost the entire year after I made around 10 mill transfer profit and doing a lot of mass biding. I remember getting the ban while I was mass biding on pisczeks. And let me tell you, sitting on 100 pisczek without being able to sell them sucks.

    I do trade, but as in the e-mail I recieved from EA it clearly states ''You can earn coins by playing FUT-Games or by trading on the market'' Its just something else I have to deal with yet again, I highly doubt I will get unbanned, sometimes I wish I was a content creator with a couple of thousand subscribers, that would get me unbanned in max 2 hours.

    Edit: I'm not perm banned, I do still have a team. Its a perm market ban, atleast for this FIFA. So I can still play Rivals and WL, and I will do so hope to get some decent fodder for upcoming sbcs!
