    The ‘My stadium’ feature in FUT could have been a major career mode improvement and yet they won’t even include it in career mode.

    Career mode players have been crying out for this for years and then they add it to FUT where although it's a nice feature no one was really asking for it. Career mode has some nice additions for once this year and this feature would have made it a really really good year for CM.

    "They can't add to career mode because of licensing"

    Over 600 teams in the game don't have their licensed stadium, there's absolutely no reason it shouldn't be an option for those clubs since they've already made the feature.

    Theres the folks who don't want fitness to be removed because it was easy to make coins off of, and theres folks like me who are happy they are gone because we didn't get fitness cards in our pack rewards and had to continuously waste coins buying them.

    Whats your opinion on the matter?

    Edit: also, what division/rank do you usually finish in rivals and WL? I wonder if that plays into it at all, considering whether you get fitness cards in your rewards.

    An analysis on what factors impact wins the most [OC]

    Since about May, I have recorded every game of Fifa I have played. I have over 500 games recording across Rivals and Champs and will be using this small sample size to try and answer some interesting questions. I am a nerdy fut enthusiast who is in div 5 and gets gold 2 pretty consistently so be kind please.

    Question 1

    Which is most important for winning games: Difference in shots on target with opponent (SOTdiff), passing accuracy, or possession?

    Possession and passing accuracy both had large pvalue so they had no effect on what my margin of defeat or win was. However SOTdiff had a very significant impact. For every shot on frame more than your opponent, you can expect to score 1/3 of a goal more than your opponent. That impact rises to almost .5 goals more than your opponent when only looking at WL games. Putting your shots on frame is so important. Additionally possession had a parabolic relationship with score margin. In games i was dominating or getting dominated, I often saw less possession, but not in between.

    Question 2

    Is futchamps or rivals more competitive?

    Im sure if you were better at this game the answer could change, but at least champs has a much more flexible method for adjusting the skill of your opponents. If you find yourself out of your depth in rivals, you may have to lose many games before you finally get relegated. I performed a ttest to determine if score margin differed among the competitions. The pvalue was significant and it concluded that rivals was significantly easier than champs which was a little surprising to me. I averaged .4 higher goal margin in rivals than in champs.

    Question 3:

    How many times did I get lucky and fifa bail me out compared to how many times did I get screwed outta a win?

    Using predictions on score margin, we can figure out whether I should win or lose. About 18% of games were incorrectly predicted. Exactly 9% of games, I won and shouldn't have and exactly 9% of games I did not win and should have. So yes there is some evidence of EAids but at least the team that deserved to win, did win 82% of the time.

    This guy saw from my lineup I was trying to get the League Link-up objective for the TOTSSF Triple Threat, which has been killing my La Liga-based soul (and my Rivals skill rating) for the past 4 days, and got completely out of the way just let me score w my Serie A and BL guys in the first 5 minutes.

    That shit brought a tear to my eyes. A big shoutout to you, Salta FC.
