Anders has finally lost in FUT Champs, going 535-0 in the process...

Don't think I could repeat this again if I tried

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 08:21 AM PST

I would rather take 1000 coins than this trophy [300 wins Fut champs]

An optional live overlay would be amazing for keeping track of objectives in-game.

I mean tbf, they did kinda warn us about the autoblocks in the trailer...

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 12:12 PM PST

A few less "obvious" flashbacks that would be cool.

Curtis Jones carrying my WL team so far

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 04:05 PM PST

Defining moment. I have found my ultimate team.

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 08:41 PM PST

I've had some lovely pack luck lately including Messi, mid Schweinsteiger and FS James who have slotted In lovely alongside Rooney, Mid Del Piero and FS Jones.

I have a team I genuinely love, players I've loved watching past and present. Players who I genuinely like and don't care if a shit Fifa glitch makes them pass two yards after holding through ball til the Max. I am going in to every game with a little excitement of what I can pull off with these players. I've lost any desire to upgrade, trade and search for the perfect winning tactic.

I have my ultimate team - all through RTG and last year unfortunately I dropped a small fortune and never found this feeling. I'm happy to take G3 week in week out and enioy this team. Peace.

Flashback Pato as he has just joined Orlando on a one year deal!

Why does it feel like “meta” players have their own rules?

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 05:08 PM PST

I feel like meta players (Mbappe, Varane, Neymar, Ronaldos (CR7 and R9) and all those) are special. Defenders can tacle how they want and it will very rarely be a foul, and they almost never get sent off. For forwards players, they get countless rebound, when they shoot the ball get back to their feet, when they dribble the ball comes back to them, when they run to get a through ball defenders stops and glitch.

The most obvious one is Varane, it's just not the same than other players. All those auto-block, tacle from the back that succeed, etc. Is it a real problem or am I crazy?

Don’t think I could do this again if I tried

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 12:30 PM PST

I hate Varane with a passion.

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 02:04 AM PST

My man is sonic apparently. Seems to catch up with every single player. Even if they have 99 acceleration, 99 sprint speed... his stats are a straight up lie.

Had a game where my opponents Varane was basically a band aid for his terrible defensive skills.

So many damn shots AI blocked and through balls swiped, so many possible yellow and red cards not given to him.

He's an icon under the hood. Makes Maldini look like Phil Jones.

As soon as I see Varane when loading into a game I know that this game is probably going to be full of bs. And it usually is.

BEST GOAL I’VE SCORED IN 7 YEARS OF PLAYING FIFA LOL

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 12:26 PM PST

    Lenglet you okay there?

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 09:50 AM PST

I lost 6-1 to Patrik Schick.

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 12:47 PM PST

A tribute to the best card I’ve used all year. Lucky enough to pack him in the Party Bag, and what a striker he is in game.

Fifa 18 ballack creation, I did my best, what y'all think?

Doing the FUT Friendlies Challenges for the Rising Stars Reinier has made me enjoy the game a bit more. I am an xbox player who typically drifts between Div 7 and 6 depending on the week. I never play weekend league and the usual friendlies challenges I am met with endless sweats. Tonight I managed to play a game against a guy who, for the first time in my 8 games playing the mode so far have taken it easy and tried to have fun. We messaged back and forth the entire game and for the first time in a long time playing FUT, I felt like I was playing a real person and not a robot. Enjoy your night everyone :)

It seemed like such a clear penalty that my opponent and I stopped playing :D

I never paid attention to the strength stat in my strikers, but now that I have Rooney, I totally get it...

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 01:33 PM PST

I scored countless goals this WL where the omnipresent Varane or Gomez try to push Rooney off the ball and they just crash with him and stumble without taking the ball from him, while Rooney just doesn't flinch and it's a guaranteed goal.

Something else I noticed is when Rooney is cutting in from the end-line into the box if you use the skill move fake shot (the one where you change angle quickly with a fast step) the LB or RB can't just keep up with him. It doesn't matter if this time is Mendy, Walker or Davies. He'll follow Rooney shoulder to shoulder and again he'll lose the challenge so one more time you'll be with Rooney alone in the box ready to score.

From now on I'll always look for high finishing and high strength in my strikers.

Diogo Dalot RB FFS Quick Review

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 01:43 PM PST

Picked this guy up at 70k this morning. He'll probably drop to around 45k given his LB card is 35k but thought I'd give you guys a review.

Been using him as a RCB in 352/532 in my WL which I've now finished at 14 and out. Let me just say he is a juiced up version of Kyle Walker with a shadow to put it simply.

He is playing next to Prime Blanc in the middle and Varane at LCB. POTM Bruno v2 at RM/RWB next to him.

He is fast (maxed out pace with a shadow) and has excellent dribbling which makes his jockey speed and responsiveness really good. He is way better than Walker in this respect.

His defending stats are excellent - 97 interceptions with shadow, 93 stand tackle and 88 defensive awareness. The extra 6 defensive awareness compared to Walker with an anchor is noticeable.

He also has a better weak foot than Walker which helps with passing out from the back.

His work rates at H/M haven't caused me any issues with him being out of position at all so far.

He is the same height as Walker but the extra 10 jumping is noticeable and he is much more dominant in the air.

Walker with an anchor has 89 strength compared to 80 with Dalot but I haven't noticed Dalot losing out in any 1-on-1 shoulder to shoulder situations so far. I think this is due to body types - Dalot feels bigger in game to me than Walker.

Overall, a fantastic card who is really cheap who is perfect for the 3/5 ATB systems when you compare his price to Reece James. Furthermore, because he's Portuguese he gives links to some key players - Renato, CR7, Eusebio (if you're rich or lucky), Bruno and strong links to the meta Milan players - Kessie and T.Hernandez.
