EA Sports FIFA Wife surprised me with FIFA points for the wrong console.. someone use these so they don’t go to waste.

Honestly, I remember at the start of the year where EA kept banging on about how tackles have been refined so you would be rewarded for using well timed tackles, literally a downright lie, there is absolutely 0 reward for defending manually and shite like this is the reason people start playing 5atb drop back 1 depth etc, there is honestly no point in even having a tackle button

People complain about the 2nd Serie A SBC in a row

But they forget that Serie A is typically the last major league to be released in TOTS. This means basically no Serie A SBCs for a month or so, while the other leagues feast. Usually people running Serie A teams are disadvantaged during the first 4 weeks of TOTS.

Having said that, I'm not doing these two, EA keeps releasing the same positions to make you waste coins and these 2 cards are not better than the previously released ones. (LW: Ribery, El Shaarawy, Gervinho; ST: Dybala, Palacio, Dzeko).

I swear. Same custom tactics, same team, but it plays differently every week. Whether it's defenders pushing up too far, midfielders bombing forward on stay back, or attackers just not making runs.

Inconsistency kills this game IMO

Anyone else struggling to keep interest in the game even with TOTS out now?

I feel like all the cards have reached a point where there's pretty much identical cards already in the game, like looking at Ndombele, he doesn't seem as good as the hype suggests he is based on in game stats and player SBC's that have already been released, same goes for a few of the other players and of cours you do have great ones such as Valverde and Wan Bissska and Barnes but I can't help but feel underwhelmed by the lack of earnable packs and even then what seems to be the weight of the community TOTS cards. I'm not expecting a Wan B or Valverde in every pack but just maybe more engagement and fun involved in it. Like the fact today has just a player SBC and nothing else doesn't inspire much faith or desire to log on and play.

I'm not one for FUT champs as I'd rather avoid the stress and pain of it all and would love to just have an enjoyable casual friendly mode even. But so far FUT Birthday was one of my personal most enjoyable promos, I just don't get the hype of TOTS anymore when it just seems multiple players have 90+ stats compared to older FIFA's where there was more variation and usability of the cards that could be used and played with.

Just cliched Silver 1 on my first full Champs weekend on FIFA 21 - sharing some thoughts...

... Jesus Christ, not even those fancy shiny blues are worth the sweat.

I'm rotating between divisions 5 and 6 and it happened exactly the same as my first other 2 tries of playing Champs this year: I try to play possession based, taking it slow, and then my opponents score on the counter after 72 rebounds.

Got silver 1 on the last game, turning the score on the last 15 minutes.

As always, and not to brag, I think I play at a better level than silver, but it has never happened this year (I was consistently gold 3/2 and sometimes 1 last year, and the year before that).

Just wanted to share the experience because, despite the rage, I now can say, in a competitive mode, that moments Pirlo, Reus and RTTF Hazard (lucky time got him on a player pick) are absolutely unreal and made the whole experience slightly tolerable.

Anyone feels the same about his WL campaigns?

Every time I lose a game I get matched with a better opponent with an even better team. Like ELO doesn't even exist. And my teams passing is getting worse with every game too, for some reason crosses and lobbed through balls are not working, I'll hold X for a loooong time if I'm going far with the ball, and they'll still send a dinky lob to the nearest player to them. What the hell is going on?? Not to mention easy passes are being totally screwed up while the opponent is basically a ball magnet.

Who’s the biggest Silver Stars fraud for you?

For me it has to be Jahanbakhsh. What a fraud. He's never in the right position or makes the right runs. Don't even get me started on his passing. Absolutely atrocious.

On the flip side, Dalbert, McGeady and Weah are absolutely sensational. I play Dalbert at CAM and he just shines, even against the best of centre backs!

But every day a new surprise.

I just conceded a goal after seven consecutives rebound off seven consecutives won tackles.

I mean at this stage I just laughed. I feel sorry for the people who still thinks this is a competitive game.

Just a friendly reminder not to take this game seriously. Keep playing it, but just laugh over it. It's not worth it.

I used to rage over this game. Now I don't since almost 2 years.

I feel both physically and mentally improved.
