I find myself spending hours thinking of and building squads, only to dread using them because of the gameplay. Online gameplay is laughably inconsistent to the point its impossible to judge your team properly and offline has no challenge because the AI is so poor. Friendlies have been pretty fun at least. Genuinely think I've spent 90% of my time this Fifa doing objectives with odd teams and played a pitiful amount of games with my actual team. [link] [comments] |

It doesn't have to be meta if they fear that. Just any card. I just don't understand this company. Everyone had hopes that after the disaster of Premier League and Ligue 1 TOTS, we'll be loaded with premium SBCs. Now the narrative is they're waiting for Euros. It shouldn't be a waiting game. I don't want to unlock PIM R9 (if that ever happens) in late August when I barely could play a game with him. [link] [comments] |

I get put into a game—cool at least I have a chance. Nope. Guy takes the ball out, pauses, and quits at 0-0. WL over. Missed Elite rewards for Ultimate TOTS. Can you imagine? I was salt. | When the gameplay is smooth, no card feels really behind the curve (or quite) Posted: 07 Jun 2021 12:42 PM PDT Yesterday I finished my WL games past midnight and couldn't but notice how the gameplay (in italian servers, at least) was possibly the best I have experienced in this FIFA. Even a friend of mine who plays FUT a lot told me how he enjoyed a lot the last hours of FUT Champs. In all this, I had the sense of how many cards that we might consider slightly behind the power curve were actually performing in their best shape ever. It's as if what you really do with the stick in your hand is the most important thing and not the stats of your players. Obviously, this won't mean that there won't be any difference between Moments Dinho and his Mid version, but I felt that you had much more control on what you were doing, instead of having to violently see your players with 99 ball control taking a century to make a left and right move. What often happens is that input lag and sloppy gameplay gives players a very difficult time to operating in narrow spaces. For example, a player like Baby Cantona, right now, feels very heavy when the average choppy gameplay hits, which happens on a regular basis. But when gameplay like yesterday happens, it's as if you get to experience the player at its fullest. Lately, I used to think that Baby Cantona wasn't usable anymore, but yesterday... he was seriously something else, playing like he never did. It feels like you can taste every player in its own, unique way and personality. It's a shame that servers are still not able to guarantee a continuous enjoyable gameplay. I suspect a lot of cards would still be so good because at that point what really would matter is the people's ability and not the agility, balance and stiffness of a player, which are oftentimes the hardest manageable aspects in a usual, FUT match.
