    I know I'm not the only one that's noticed. You try to bid on SBC fodder for an hour but every single card gets bid up to min BIN. Then you step away for a few minutes and watch the cards on your watchlist sell for 40-50% of min BIN.

    I've made most of my coins through winning low bids, so it's particularly noticeable now that I haven't been able to flip for the last couple weeks.

    I have just played what I would describe as my worst fifa game I have ever played. Division 4 rivals, come up against a meta team. About 4 million minimum, Messi, Mbappé, Neymar, mid cryuff. Decided he couldn't attack my untradables team because I was trying to have fun with a new team. He went five in the back, subbed on 3 icon defenders, and proceeded to pass back for the entire 1st half. I'm pretty sure he was on overload ball side and ultra defensive. 56 minute I poached his passing back and scored one goal with son. Doesn't do anything until 88th minute and hits my bar from outside the box. Then looses with 95 percent pass accuracy, 78 possession, and 1 shot to my one shot. Has the fucking audacity to message me saying I'm garbage. You are the reason that people complain about this game. Garbage player with insane team but doesn't play the game properly. I genuinely hope you get your account hacked. The hacker would most likely have more skill than you. How you got to div four with that shit is beyond me.

    I'm sorry, but to only upgrade players who are being upgraded by +3 or more is just a joke.

    There is absolutely no reasoning behind this decision and the players which will be upgraded are barely used by anyone anyway. Even the ones that are used, the upgrades to those base cards wont have much of an impact on increasing their current special cards (if any impact at all).

    What do you all think?

    I can't help but think that behind this decision is some sort of motivation to make more money in other ways.

    Winter refresh - The knife twists and goes deeper

    Well, here we are. Winter refresh the one time a year where players from outside the top 5 leagues get a little love. Some players get a decent boost, etc. So this year we have been provided a list of players that got at least +3 overall. Every single one from a Top 5 league. Not a single player outside the top 5 is due an overall upgrade. (Edit: except Andre Onana, a goalkeeper for you guesses it Ajax) Fifa 17 was the most inclusive Fifa ever. Look at fut birthday. TOTS full squads from Russsia, Belgium, Eredivisie etc. And from there it has just got worse every year. Why even bother having any other leagues in the game. they are barely fodder because many of these leagues don't have or have minimal gold cards. They are ignored time and again for TOTW . EX) the Pro League had 2 hat tricks this weekend. One from midfield, but 1 is the limit unless other leagues have a week off. The most frustrating part is some of these players received skill move and weak foot upgrades. Sme of them are also completely random Cercle Brugge has 3 players getting skill move or weak foot upgrades. They are dead last in the league by a wide margin. The level of effort from EA is appalling. A list in no particular order and in no way comprehensive of players that could have been upgraded and deserved more than a +3

    I could go on forever, you get the point. EA I have had almost every game since World Cup 98. I love this sport and I have many good memories about this game. The way this game devalues its customers has reached a breaking point. From DDA, to broken gameplay and everything in between I have completely had it. One of the few things I actually enjoyed was putting together teams of special cards from smaller leagues. It is now impossible. And that is the straw that broke the camels back. FIFA 20 is the end. (EA you also murdered Sim City and folks if you thought the grind was bad in FUT the grind in the Sim City mobile game maybe the most sadistic thing I have ever played).

    Please somebody make a decent game for the next gen.

    Short guide on making coins from TOTW announcement

    Hi guys been a while since I did a guide on here so here's a short one on how I made a quick 150k today.

    When a totw gets announced like today and a player makes it with previous informs the other ones sometimes get panic sold. Our case study from this week: Ben Yedder. It also helps if the inform is a little unexpected as there hasn't been a drop off factored into his price already. So today I picked up 4 of the SIF Ben Yedder and 5 of the first inform at around 5pm and flipped them earlier today after rewards. I bought 4 of the 86 at an average of 425 and flipped them at 472 average then I bought the 85 at an average of 195 and flipped at an average of 218. I could've bought more but I was trading some icons at the time and my budget was a little low.

    How did I know that they were gonna rebound?

    Let's talk about how panic works. So people see the totw announcement and assume the inform will go down. So they panic sell and as a mass of people are doing it the undercuts drive the price down. Usually the minimum point is 90-120 minutes after the announcement. Some people think they will be able to sell the old one and get the new one others think they will pack the new one as a red (lol) and others just blindly panic sell and honestly I have no idea why sometimes but it just happens. So I knew Ben Yedder would rebound because obviously the 87 would be expensive, rewards was coming the day after and Ben Yedder is extremely meta so people will buy him back for their teams. Then once 6pm arrives and people see the price of the new TOTW, Ben Yedder rebounded and continued rising post rewards with the increased buying power

    So how can you take advantage of this in the future?

    Whenever there's a TOTW with a META player preferably an attacker and you start seeing them drop by over 10% because of panic take a look at it. It usually works best with meta attackers in the 100k-1mil price range and it works especially well if a TOTW wasn't expected for the player in question. More often than not you can buy the player and wait till rewards the next day and sell.

    So this is a very short guide but it's just a super easy technique that can make you an easy amount of coins here and there. It also works with cards that are going to get a new promo card but there's more risk involved in that. I might do a massive guide on navigating panic on the market in the future and how to make tons of coins from it instead of losing coins like most players do.

    Ratings Refresh/Prime Icon Moments/Winter Ones to Watch Discussion!

    What EA has released so far:

    Winter Refresh - confirmed PIM, winter OTW, and ratings/WF/skill moves upgrades

    - OTW Florenzi confirmed by image tweeted by EA

    - Milestones upgrade hinted at with possible Napoli Politano image

    - New players added, including Ribery!

    - Overall upgrades here

    - WF/SM upgrades here

    What we know/assume/hope about upgrades:

    Based on previous years, performance-based special cards received rating upgrades if their base NIF card received an upgrade with a face stat equaling or surpassing that of the special card.

    In-game stats are irrelevant as far as the winter refresh is concerned, as Heung Min Son's winter 85 NIF in FIFA 19 equaled his 86 IF in six different in-game stats but no upgrade was triggered because the NIF was at least one point behind the IF in each of the face stats.
