    Probably an unpopular opinion, but I wish you could just get rid of celebrations all together.

    Don't get me wrong, I am sure its fun seeing your opponent do the same celebration for the 3rd, 4th or 5th time in a row... But I would rather just skip and get back into the game..

    I don't want a panoramic view of the crowd going crazy, or everybody rushing onto the pitch in the 85th minute like they've just won the premier league.

    No longer are celebrations done with the intention of "celebrating", its done merely to goad your opponent into tilting... its toxic and there is no good to it in my opinion.

    If I have to see Ollie Watkins smug grin once more I am going to have an aneurysm.

    "why you get mad bro, chill, its just a game bro" is probably going to be the main reply. I don't think there is a single person on the planet that truthfully doesn't care about celebrations and them being even slightly annoying.

    Icon Swaps Icon Pack GUIDE, including Base Icon Player Pick Percentages!

    I've got all my tokens and after seeing a ton of base icon player picks, I went out to try to figure out what was the best swaps combination available that would give me the best chance at a "usable" or "desirable" player. I was also inspired by this post here to calculate percentages.

    I used the market price of the icons (USING www.futbin.com) as an estimate for their "rarity", so this is all only an estimate. EA definitely have the weight different as there's some kind of price correlation to "meta" which they probably don't fully take into account, but it's a good enough approximation and will tell you generally how likely it is to pack a certain player from a certain pack.

    At the bottom of the post, I'm posting an APPENDIX for what I think is a desirable / usable Icon player in each category.

    RESULTS

    1. Base Icon Pack
      Desirable: 5.76% Chance
      Usable: 16% Chance
    2. Base or Mid Icon Pack
      Desirable: 5.88% Chance
      Usable: 18.07% Chance
    3. Mid Icon Pack
      Desirable: 6.03% Chance
      Usable: 20.01% Chance
    4. Mid or Prime Pack
      Desirable: 6.1% Chance
      Usable: 27.65% Chance
    5. 89+ Pack
      Desirable: 8.3% Chance
      Usable: 21.34% Chance
    6. Base Icon Player Pick
      Desirable: 17.29% Chance
      Usable: 49.31% Chance (Without Goalies), 63% Chance (With Goalies)
    7. Picking the Base Icon Pack + Base or Mid Icon Pack:
      Desirable: 11.3% Chance
      Usable: 31.17% Chance

    As you can see: if you think just from empirical evidence that the player pick is cracked, you're right! It certainly looks *very* cracked, and seems much better than picking any of the packs if you want a usable player, or a desirable player.

    If you pick two icon packs (Base Icon + Base or Mid), you have a better chance of getting a desirable or usable player, but still not nearly as good of a chance as the base icon player pick. One thing to note is that as you spend more tokens, the chance you get better players increases! But the increases are all minimal, except the icon player pick.

    So if you're just looking to get the BEST possible outcome, go with the player pick!

    The percentages change wildly based on the definition of "desirable" and "usable", because if you are OK stomaching keepers (they'll go in my team) then each keeper is the most likely to be packed (in the player pick they're around 5% likely). It's possible that EA has lowered the percentage of keepers packed because people in general don't like getting keepers, so keep that in mind.

    I can also do this for any other pack coming out, like the 84+ player pick, the 86+ pack, 25x 83+, ... It'll just take me some time to gather the market data.

    Man.

    These guys play a completely different game than we do.

    I'm a fairly decent player. I get at least E3 every week, and have placed E2 three times, but haven't been able to crack E1 this year.

    His team was good, but not that much better than you'd expect at this point in the year. Neymar, Mbappe, TOTGS Rashford, both Freeze Marquinhos and Firmino, etc.

    But the skill moves these guys put together just break defenders. Boosted stepovers, elasticos, flip flaps, canceled la croquetas, bridge/directional nutmegs. It was a terrible time. I got slapped 6-0, and deservedly so. I've never been dominated this hard in a game of FIFA before, lol.

    I guess I'm just trying to say, yes, this game is horrendously cheesy and broken. But damn, some of these guys are insane.

    I'm seeing some confusion about when the win streak for the Headliners card starts for the new cards, so just wanted to let everyone know.

    According to EA themselves "The winning streak for each club starts from the launch of Headliners on January 1. Any club wins before that date does not count towards the upgrade."

    So a player like Mahrez, for example, already have the 1 win (against Chelsea) counting towards his streak even tho he was released today.

    Robben has the best Finesse shot on the game. He is one of the best wingers available.

    Prior to using Robben I was never a finesse shot guy as I found then to be massively inconsistent regardless of who I used. However one of my favourite competitive/content creators/high level FIFA players Mike LaBelle made the claim that 'Robben had the best Finesse shot'. So naturally, I had to try him.

    After 50 games with the card I believe he has the best finesse shot in the game and is also one of the best wingers available. His shooting in general is top tier. Get him on his left and he'll rarely miss. Power shots, chip shots and finesse shots he'll score them all.

    If you haven't done him you are missing out. His dribbling and unique animations make him a great players to use out wide.

    9.5/10. Definitely worth doing.

    I lost count on how many times I was one on one against the keeper and Varane somehow caught up from behind, slide tackle and broke my strikers' legs without getting a foul. If he pulls a knife and murders my Joao Felix, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

    Nah just joking but seriously, that guy must be one of the worst opponents to face at CB. Always gives me a headache facing him. He's even worse than Varane and Gomez for me, such an incredibly OP card.

    Even worse when people pair up Walker and traore at CB. I see that on the squad screen and I want to quit right then and there

    It's so dumb, they will do a skill move I guess right then it just somehow bounces back to them. It makes this game so unplayable when all you have to do is skill move because you either get lucky or a penalty since you can win yourself pens so easy. This game needs an update asap because it's way worse than 20
